To adjust to the crowds of visitors during Ramadhan, peddlers in 73 shelter locations (Loksem) that spread in South Jakarta will open in the afternoon until morning.

South Jakarta Cooperatives, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and Trade Sub-dept. Head, Shita Damayanti said, change in operational hours during Ramadhan is an agreement between peddlers.

"This is their own initiative. In afternoon, will be crowded because people will go out for breaking the fast," she stated, Tuesday (5/30).

While for three coaching locations (Lokbin) in South Jakarta, they will remain open from morning until afternoon. 

"This is because they mostly sell vegetable and open since dawn until afternoon. The important thing is they obey the rules, that is always maintain cleanliness and direct the buyer not to park haphazardly," she said.
